DEATH OF PROMINENT STANHOPE CITIZEN

Will Taylor Died of Liver Trouble at the Age of 55 Years - Sick a Long Time

STANHOPE, Aug. 27 - Special to the Freeman-Tribune: Will Taylor, one of the long time residents in this community died this morning of liver trouble, at the age of 55 years. He leaves a wife and two children to mourn his demise. Deceased had suffered for several years with an aggravated case of liver complaint, which many physicians told him was incurable. However, he did not give up hope and continued to try to obtain relief, even going to the Mayo Brothers' hospital at Rochester, Minn., about three or four weeks ago. There he was advised of the hopelessness of his case. He returned and has been going about his every day duties the same as usual till a few days ago. Mr. Taylor was one of the prominent men in the vicinity of Stanhope, and was quite well known over the county. He was a son of W.M. Taylor, formerly clerk of the court, now of Jennings, La.

The funeral will be held Monday at 2:30 o'clock in the afternoon.

[married Ella Sneesby - both are buried at Lawn Hill Cemetery, rural Stanhope, Iowa]
