Dolores Mildred Evans, born at Blairsburg, Iowa, June 24, 1930 and Roger Eugene Evans, born at Webster City, Aug. 21, 1934, were the eldest daughter and only son of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Evans.

Until the time of their illness they attended the Lawn Hill school of Webster City, Dolores in the fourth grade and Roger in kindergarten.

Wednesday Roger became ill with the mumps. Complications set in which caused his death Sunday, March 24, at 12:15 a.m.

Dolores became suddenly ill Sunday evening and Monday it was learned that she had diphtheria, which caused her death Wednesday evening, March 27, just three days after the death of her brother, Roger Eugene.

They are survived by their parents and sister, Lois Ann, age 7 and their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.H. Ferrell and Mrs. Mary Evans, their great grandmother, Mrs. Caroline Clary of Blairsburg, also their great grandfather, E.A. Evans, of Tracy, Minn., and many other relatives, little classmates and friends.

Private funeral services were held for both at the Foster funeral home, with the Rev. F.E. Henry, of the Blairsburg congregational church, officiating.

Burial was made in the Blairsburg cemetery.
