Cora Jane Snyder was born November 7, 1871 in Hamilton County, Iowa, and died February 10, 1921 at her home in Stanhope, Iowa, at the age of 49 years, 3 months and 3 days. She was married to J.E. Snyder July 18, 1890. There were seven children born to this union, three sons and four daughters, Goldie Olafson, Agnes Tjernagel, Hazel Dick, Lowell, Bernice and Luverne Snyder, all of whom were at home when she passed away. One son died in infancy.

Mrs. Snyder or Cora as we all call her was born and grew up among us and the family has the sympathy of the entire neighborhood.

Mrs. Snyder was a kind and affectionate wife and mother, one who took great care of all the little details of the home.

The funeral services were held Sunday at 1:30 o'clock at the M.E. church conducted by Rev. G.H. Dick. Interment was made in Saratoga Cemetery.
