OBITUARY OF MRS. ADAM KEPLER

Elizabeth Myers was born on Nov. 19, 1836 in Center county, Penn., and died at her home in Stanhope on June 16, 1917 at the age of 80 years, 6 months and 28 days.

While a small child she moved with her parents to Ohio, where in 1858 she was married to Adam Kepler. After their marriage they came to Hamilton county, Iowa, which has been their home ever since.

She was brought up a Lutheran, converted in childhood, and after her marriage joined the Methodist Episcopal church, of which she remained a faithful member till her death.

She was the mother of eleven children, of whom five are now living. W.L. Kepler, of Spencer, Iowa; G.F. Kepler, O.W. Kepler, Mrs. J.E. Snyder and Mrs. Andrew Snyder, all of Stanhope, Iowa.

She also leaves her aged husband, one sister and two brothers, besides a host of friends, to mourn her departure.

The funeral was held in the Stanhope Methodist church on Tuesday, June 19th, with burial in the Stanhope cemetery [Lawn Hill Cemetery].
