Henry J. Range, 74, rural Kamrar area resident, died early this morning at Mary Greeley hospital in Ames where he had been a patient for two weeks.

Funeral services will definitely be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran church with the Rev. Henry Wesenberg officiating and with burial in Lawn Hill cemetery at Stanhope.

The body will lie in state at the Foster Funeral home until 10 a.m. when it will be taken to the church.

Surviving are his wife [Lucille Gertrude Fessenden - married Nov. 23, 1931]; four sons and six daughters: Mrs. Leroy (Marian) Hill, St. Anges, Mich., Mrs. Wilbur (Jean) Davis of rural Dows; Mrs. Ernest (Janet) Stacy, Davenport; Peter Range, Clarion; Mrs. Bernard (Esther) Long of Webster City; Duane Range, Kamrar; Mrs. William (Jeanette) Muessigmann of Stanhope; Luverne Range of Ames; Eugene Range of rural Kamrar, and Mrs. Ron (Nancy) Davis of Kamrar; 23 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, one daughter; two grandchildren, his parents, two brothers and one sister.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran church.
