Conrad Lundquist, 88, Webster City, died Nov. 8, 1996 at Crestview Manor Care Center in Webster City. Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. today at Foster Funeral Home, with Rev. Henry Grant officiating. Burial was at Lawn Hill Cemetery, southeast of Stanhope.

Conrad Edward Lundquist, son of Victor and Nettie Sealine Lundquist, was born Sept. 25, 1908 on a farm southwest of Stanhope. He attended Stanhope Public School, graduating in 1928. He started farming at the age of 17, following the death of his father. On Aug. 14, 1934, he married Marvel Knight in Stanhope. The couple farmed south of Stanhope. He retired at the age of 60 and the couple moved to Stanhope. In 1986, they moved to Webster City. He had resided at Crestview Manor for the past month and a half.

He is survived by his wife, Marvel; son and daughter-in-law, David and Donna Lundquist, Webster City; grandchildren, Marty and Marilyn Lundquist, Worthington, Ohio, Mick and Michelle Lundquist, Ankeny, Matthew Lundquist and Brooke Lovelace, Des Moines; great-grandchildren, Bradley and Megan Lundquist, Ankeny; brother, Eldred Lundquist, Stanhope, sister, Doris Chicken, Webster City; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Marie Nelson.

Mr. Lundquist attended the Christian Church in Stanhope.
