STEVE LINN DIED SUDDENLY FROM HEART ATTACK

Steve Linn, 48, [born May 9, 1909] prominent Stanhope banking official died at 6:30 P.M. Thursday at the Hamilton county hospital. His death was sudden, being attributed to a heart attack.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Christian church in Stanhope with the Rev. Traverce Harrison, Rev. T.M. Walton and Walter E. Carlson officiating. Marion Hall was vocal soloist, and Mrs. Wendall Carlson was organist. Burial was in Lawn Hill cemetery at Stanhope.

Active pallbearers were: Bill Parker, Bud Ober, Art Arends, Arnold Johnson, Bob Hoger and Dick Setchell; Honorary pallbearers were: Art Donhowe, Art Fardal, Roy Sweet, Charlie Read, Rudy Andrews, Carl Schmidt, Elmer Wiemer and L.W. Dick.

Mr. Linn, cashier of the Farmers State Bank, is survived by his wife [Ruth]and one son, Michael Steven, and 11 brothers and sisters. Mr. Linn was a member of the Christian Church at Stanhope and Superintendent of the Sunday School.
