Wilmer H. Jacobson, 72, a lifelong Stanhope resident, died Friday morning at his home in Stanhope.

The body has been donated to science.

Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. at the Stanhope Christian church with the Rev. William Van Dam officiating and with burial in the Lawn Hill cemetery at a later date.

Foster's Funeral home has charge of arrangements.

Wilmer Henry Jacobson, son of Henry and Olive Lavine Jacobson, was born Nov. 23, 1908 at Stanhope where he was reared and educated. He had always resided at Stanhope since that time.

He is survived by two nieces and two nephews, Mrs. Cleon (Janice) Merrill of Webster City, Mrs. Leah Frazek of St. Petersburg, Fla., Steve Ober of Waterloo and Jerry Ober of Huxley; two grandnieces and two grandnephews and several cousins, including Mrs. Conrad Lundquist of Stanhope.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

He was a member of the Stanhope Christian church.

Friends so desiring may make memorial contributions to the Senior Citizens club in Stanhope.
