Mrs. Hulda Hove, 96, longtime Stanhope resident, died early Sunday morning at Mary Greeley hospital in Ames.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Our Savior's Lutheran church in Stanhope with the Rev. Dwight McElree officiating and with burial in the Lawn Hill cemetery near Stanhope.

Friends may call at the Foster Funeral home until 9:30 a.m. Wednesday when the casket will be taken to the church.

Hulda Erickson, daughter of Axel and Engleborg Erickson, was born Dec. 12, 1884 at Princeton, Minn.

She was united in marriage Oct. 11, 1910 to Edd M. Hove, and the couple resided on a farm southeast of Stanhope where she was preceded in death by her husband in 1946. She continued to reside on the family farm.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Melvin A. Hove of Hiawatha, Iowa, Erwin Hove of Stanhope, Mrs. Miles (Myrtle) Green, West Des Moines and Mrs. Evelyn Arrasmith of Minerva, Ohio; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Levona Hove, who died in 1952; a grandson, Richard Hove, who died in 1976; and also one sister and one brother who died in infancy.

She was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran church in Stanhope.
