J.D. Eaton passed away on July 23, 2016 in Phoenix, Arizona.

J.D. was born in Stanhope, Iowa in April of 1932 to Herschel and Flossie [Hagan] Eaton. He graduated from Stanhope High School in 1949.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Marguerite Arntzen and one stepdaughter.

J.D. is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Eaton of Phoenix, Arizona and one stepdaughter of New Mexico.

Burial of his cremains will be at Lawn Hill Cemetery southeast of Stanhope at a later date.
