Funeral services for Halley W. (Buck) Cady, 76 of Williams, will be held Thursday, Nov. 6 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Fr. Louis Zee will officiate.

Mr. Cady died Sunday, Nov. 2 at Mercy Hospital Medical Center in Des Moines.

Halley W. Cady, the son of Joseph and Sarah Hupp Cady, was born May 23, 1910 at Brocksburg, Neb. He attended rural schools in Nebraska.

On Sept 2, 1958, he married Claire Miller at Pierz, Minn. He farmed in Iowa and Minnesota for many years. The couple moved to Williams in 1963 where Mr. Cady operated a plumbing and carpentry business. He served as sexton for the Williams and Rose Grove Cemetery for many years.

Survivors are his wife; four sisters, Doris Lumsden of Coon Rapids, Ellen Clifford, Della and Jeannette Cady, all of Williams; four brothers, Jim of Coon Rapids, Boyd, Donald and George, all of Williams; nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and three brothers.
