Kenneth Orlo Anderson, 74, Spirit Lake, IA, formerly of Webster City died at their winter residence in Mesa, AZ December 30, 2016.

He is survived by his wife Barbara; son Bradley, Bozeman MT; brothers Brian (Genie) Tuscon, AZ; Don (Trudy) Webster City; niece Sarah Berkheimer (Jason) Arvada, Co; nephew Chris Anderson, Bozeman, MT; uncle and aunt Bob and Clysta Echelberger, Kamrar and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Virginia Anderson.

Kenn owned Anderson Tax Service and farmed in the Webster City area.

He was a devout Christian and longtime member of Asbury Methodist Church and the Monarch Cove Worship Service of Okoboji.

Kenn was very patriotic, loved this country, and was proud to have served in the U.S. Navy as a weatherman and a band leader.

Pursuing his love for music, he studied music at Morningside College, and sang with the Webster City Men’s Chorus, Asbury Church Choir, Webster City Community Chorus, and the Sonshine Singers of Fort Dodge.

His other activities included fishing, jeeping, Mainstreet Kiwanis, United Coop Board of Directors, and Past Exalted Ruler of the Fort Dodge Elks.

Burial and memorial services will be held later this spring.
