Rozella Flaws, 92, of Webster City, died Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at Crestview Nursing and Rehabilitation. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center. Burial will follow the services at Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Rozella Pearl Miller was born August 3, 1924, in Webster City, the daughter of Arville and Jessie Craig Miller. She was a graduate of Lincoln High. She married James Sinn on August 28, 1942 in Webster City. He preceded her in death on April 7, 1964. She married Robert Flaws on May 21, 1965 in Blue Earth, MN. She held many jobs throughout the years. She maintained many vending machines in the area, delivered the Freeman Journal, owned and operated the Woolstock Inn for a number of years, tended bar at Kelly's Bar and Grill and drove semi-truck with her husband, Bob.
Rozella is survived by her husband, Robert Flaws of Woolstock; children, Patty Ann Wilson and Jim (Judy) Sinn Jr., all of Webster City; step-children, Robert (Patty) Flaws of Burnsville, MN, Dennis Flaws of Omaha, NE, Tami Pruismann of Phoenix, AZ; 15 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren; sister, Ardella Herzog of CA; many nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband James; daughter in-infancy, Barbara Jean Flaws; brothers, Virgil Miller, Doyle Miller, Gale Miller; sister, Vona Johnson.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxillary. She enjoyed playing bingo, all types of card games, embroidery, and most of all, spending time with her family.
