Daniel Cady Chase, III, 72, Port Charlotte, Fla., died Dec. 6, 1995, in Florida.

Daniel Cady Chase, son of Helen [Woolsey] Chase, was born Jan. 14, 1923 in Cedar Rapids. He was raised in Webster City and graduated from Drake University in Des Moines. He was employed at Pankow Associates and was also a veteran of World War II.

He is survived by wife, Claudine Joy Chase; seven children; sisters, Mary Sutten and Virginia Garretson; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother.

Mr. Chase was a member of the University Club and was also a mason.
