Hudson - Linda Marie Dober, 64, of Hudson, Iowa, died suddenly on vacation in Sioux Lookout, Ontario, Canada on Tuesday, June 21, 2016. She was born October 4, 1951 in Des Moines, daughter of Delbert and Hantea Scheppler.

Linda married Ken Dober on November 14, 1970 in Webster City, Iowa. She graduated from North East Hamilton High School in 1969 and attended Ellsworth Community College and Iowa State University. She also received her master's degree from the University of Northern Iowa.

She was a teacher for over 25 years in the Hudson Community Schools, retiring in 2008. She was a member of Hudson United Methodist Church where she played piano and taught bible studies.

Survivors include her husband: Kenneth Dober of Hudson; a daughter Dana (Edward) Germick of Wynnewood, PA; grandson: Edward Germick III; and two brothers: David (Peggy) Scheppler of Mason, Ohio and Gary Scheppler of Hot Springs, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by: her parents Delbert and Hantea Scheppler.

Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 28 at United Methodist Church of Hudson. Visitation 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, June 27 at Locke Funeral Home. Condolences may be left at www.LockeFuneralHome.com.
