Nancy J. Merrill, 42, Mason City, a former Webster City resident, died Saturday, Oct. 19, at the home of her sister in Franklin, Tenn. Memorial services will be held Friday, Oct. 25, at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Webster City, Rev. Roy Miltner officiating. Private burial services will be held at Graceland Cemetery, Webster City. No visitation is scheduled.

Nancy Jane Merrill, daughter of George and Doris (Heng) Merrill, was born July 21, 1949, in Webster City, where she received her education and graduated from Webster City High School in 1968. She attended Buena Vista College in Storm Lake, graduating with a bachelor's degree in elementary education in 1972. She had resided in Mason City since 1973, and was employed in daycare work for several years. She was most recently employed with the Charlie Brown Daycare Center of Mason City.

She is survived by her parents, George and Doris Merrill, Webster City; two sisters, Pat Merrill, Franklin, Tenn., and Susan Danielson, Rochester, Minn.; and three aunts, Frances Henke, St. Louis Park, Mo.; Arlie Gabrielson, Mason City; and Freda Johnson, Webster City.

She was a member of one of the Lutheran churches in Mason City.
