Brad Hal Schwieger, 56, passed away on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Royale Meadows in Sioux Center, Iowa. Brad had been diagnosed with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) in January 2014. Visitation was from 5-7 p.m. Sunday, December 27 at the Missionary Alliance Church in Blairsburg. Memorial services were 10 a.m. Monday, December 28 at Missionary Alliance Church with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Popejoy. Surls Funeral Home of Iowa Falls assisted the family.

Brad was born on June 24, 1959 in Iowa Falls to John and Sandra (Stephensen) Schwieger. He graduated from Alden High School and from Iowa State University with his Bachelor of Science degree in Agronomy. On June 8, 1984 Brad was united in marriage to Dawn Hoelscher at Popejoy Methodist Church. Brad was an Agronomist for many years, but most recently worked for Barilla.

Brad is survived by his two daughters, Amanda Keller and her husband, Andy and their children, Eliza, Wyatt and Beckett of Orange City and Maile Schwieger of St. Paul; his son, Caleb Schwieger, his wife Nicole and their daughter Delia of Webster City; his siblings Robin (Susan) Schwieger of Nicollet, MN, Kay (Rob) Whipple of Indianola, Earl Soper of Boone and Dan Soper of Ames. As well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents John and Sandra, his wife Dawn and his brother Richard Schwieger.
