A memorial service for Marilyn Huebner, 67, of Rural Jewell, IA will be Friday November 13, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Faith United Methodist Church in Webster City. The visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 at the church. Boman Funeral Home is serving the family.

A memorial service for Marilyn Huebner, 67, of Rural Jewell, IA will be Friday November 13, 2015 at 10 AM at Faith United Methodist Church in Webster City with Rev. Michael Slininger officiating. The visitation will be Thursday from 5-7 at the church. Boman Funeral Home is serving the family. Marilyn passed away Monday at home with family surrounding her.

Marilyn Louise Huebner was born on September 29, 1948 in Albion, Nebraska to Ralph and Opal Johnson. She attended school in Albion, graduating from high school in 1966. Marilyn married David Huebner on February 14, 1984 at the Mira Valley United Methodist Church in Valley County, NE. She ran the North Loup Café and the couple farmed row crop, dairy and livestock. Marilyn enjoyed farming hay and mowing grass. In 2005 the couple moved to Iowa to work for Prestige Farms.

She enjoyed outdoor activities, including fishing, hunting, and mowing. Marilyn was associated with the Kamrar United Methodist Church. Above all, she loved her family deeply.

Marilyn’s family includes her husband, David; daughters: Mandy (Kevin) Winters of Virginia Beach, VA and Sandra Fischer of Cedar Rapids, IA; son: Lynn (Jen) Fischer of Grand Island, NE; six grandchildren: Cortney Winters, Chelsea Winters, Mercedes Turek, Kiana Turek, Owen Fischer and Garrett Fischer; brothers and sisters: Karen (Ed) Kelly of Albion, NE, John (Donna) Johnson of Albion, NE, Donna Eltiste of Flower Mound, TX, Tim (Rhonda) Johnson of Lexington, NE, and Susie (Clayton) Wenburg of Lexington, NE. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Ralph Johnson, Robert Johnson, and Rex Johnson; and sister, Linda Shaw.
