Duane Youngdale, 60, of Webster City passed away at his home on September 2, 2015. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Pastor Michael Slininger officiating. Burial will be in Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 a.m. until service time.

Duane Mark Youngdale was born October 9, 1954 in Fort Dodge, the son of Kenneth and Bonnie Lambert Youngdale. He graduated from Webster City High School and later attended the welding program at DMAAC.

In August of 1975, he married Darla Karlene Plain of Webster City and had two daughters, Maisie Ann Youngdale and Sarah Lou Youngdale. The couple divorced in 1990.

He married Helen Cole in 1995 in Minnesota and had one son, Cole Cordell Youngdale. The couple divorced in 2011.

Duane loved to work and keep busy. At the start of his career he worked at Gerber Auto Electric, Youngdale Construction, Webster City Roofing and most recently, The Freeman Journal. He was always dedicating his time to do various handyman jobs.

Duane had a great love for music, especially AC/DC, Alice Cooper and Neil Young. He loved to get in his car and take a great road trip. He thrived on the happiness of his children and grandchildren. He had a great joy as well for his "Grand Dogs." He was also a long time member of AA.

Duane is survived by his children, Maisie (Nate) Zills of Rock Springs, WY, Sarah Timm of Webster City, Cole Youngdale of Webster City; grandchildren, Mason Vang of Ankeny, Makenah Timm of Webster City; parents, Kenneth (Jean) Youngdale of Webster City, Bonnie Youngdale of Webster City; brothers, Randy (Reta) Youngdale, Doug (Carla) Youngdale, both of Webster City; sister, Julie (Jim) Hoag of St. Paul MN; several nieces and nephews who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his nephew, Troy Youngdale.
