Mary Jane Muck passed peacefully on June 23, 2015 at the age of 81 at Crestview Wellness Facility. A memorial service will be held June 28, 2015 at 2:00pm at the United Church of Christ Congregational in Blairsburg.

Mary was born March 17, 1934 to Earl and Eva McLaughlin of Glade, KS and was the youngest of four children. She married Bill Muck on April 1, 1962 in Inavale, NE. In their later years, Mary & Bill ranched and managed a hunting and fishing resort in the Nebraska Sandhills. In the winter of 2001 they moved to Blairsburg, IA.

Mary is survived by her three sons and one daughter; Jack (Denise) of Waterloo, NE, Jim (Loretta) of Blairsburg, IA, Mike (Doreen) of Yutan, NE, and Cathy (Scott) Oswalt of Webster City, IA; caregiver and family friend Mary Moore, twelve grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren, as well as three nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband William "Bill", her parents, two sisters, a brother, a granddaughter, a great-granddaughter, and three nieces and nephews.
