Funeral services for LeRoy V. Christenson, 73, longtime Webster City resident, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Byron Surface officiating and with burial in the Presbyterian cemetery near Kamrar.

LeRoy Victor Christenson, son of John W. and Ida Olson Christenson, was born May 13, 1901 at Kamrar where he was reared and educated. He was married May 21, 1935, to Anna Margaret Wepel at Garner, and following their marriage they made their home in Kamrar. They moved later to a farm north of Webster City. For the past several years, they had resided in Webster City.

He is survived by his wife, Anna; and children, John Christenson, Webster City; Mrs. Richard (Maria Ann) Balm of Fort Smith, Ark., Airman 1st Class Roger L. Christenson of Travis Air Force base, Calif.; four grandchildren; two brothers and three sisters, Oscar and Arthur Christenson of Webster City; Mrs. Harold (Clara) Elliott of Webster City, Mrs. Marion (Esther) Beardsley, Kingsley, Iowa, and Mrs. Willard (Ella) Wolf of Hampton.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and three sisters.
