Mrs. Carl Trampel, 32, a longtime resident of the Webster City-Kamrar community, died Tuesday afternoon at the Hamilton County hospital where she had been a patient since Oct. 12, 1969. She had been in ill health the past two years.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the First Presbyterian church east of Kamrar with Rev. Marvin L. Camp officiating and with burial in the Presbyterian cemetery. The body will lie in state at the Foster Funeral home until 9:30 a.m. Friday when it will be taken to the church.

Barbara Joan McCollough, daughter of Ralph F. and Marie Elizabeth Pinkele McCollough, was born June 29, 1937, at Webster City and was reared and educated in this community. She was united in marriage Aug. 8, 1956 to Carl Trampel, and the couple had always farmed two miles east of Kamrar.

She is survived by her husband; three sons and one daughter, Allen, Dwight, Elizabeth Ann and Timothy John, all at home; eight brothers and five sisters, Melvin McCollough, Albert A. McCollough, Thyrol McCollough, Gale McCollough, Harold Dean McCollough, Mrs. Harold (Doris) Fink and Mrs. D.R. (Carol) Wenger, all of Webster City; Carl McCollough, Union, N.J., Lyle McCollough, Madison Lake, Minn., Robert McCollough of Fairfield, Calif., Mrs. Wyatt (Evelyn) Timmons, Carterville, Ill., Mrs. Virgil (Phyllis) Hilpipre of Woolstock and Mrs. Leo (Patricia) Klaver of Kamrar, and a number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and twin sisters, who died in infancy.

Mrs. Trampel was a member of the First Presbyterian church at Kamrar.
