Dolores "Lori" Kelly, 67, of Webster City died Wednesday, April 15, 2015 at Unity Point Health in Fort Dodge. A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, April 24, 2015 from 2:00 pm. to 5:00 p.m. at the Bridge in Webster City.

Dolores Paulette Shaeffer was born October 23, 1947 in Webster City, the daughter of Samuel and Dolores Kingsley Shaeffer. She was a 1966 graduate of Webster City High School. She married Carl Eugene Kelly on July 7, 1970 in Webster City. The couple resided in California and then Alaska. The couple later divorced. She returned to Webster City and spent her summers in South Dakota with her longtime companion, Tom Halverson. Lori was employed as a telephone operator at Modern Farms and later worked at Iowa Miss and Mrs. until their closing in 1989.

Lori is survived by her daughter, Wendy Kelly of Webster City; grandchildren, Megan Farwell of Webster City, Felicia Hurtt of Fort Dodge, Natalie Farwell of Duncombe, Aime Jo Kelly and Jamison Worrick, both of Webster City; 10 great-grandchildren; sister, Susan (Robert) Asklund of Webster City; nephews, Brian (Cathy) Asklund of Des Moines, Jason (Tanya) Asklund of Webster City.

Lori was preceded in death by her parents; long time companion, Tom Halverson; great-grandson, Brenden Farwell-Worthen; daughter, Carla Grooms.

She was a former member of the Webster City bowling league.
