Don E. Coulter, 94, of Webster City, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at the Southfield Wellness Community. Don has chosen cremation and a private family committal will be held at Graceland Cemetery. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Audrey Long and Don Coulter were married at the Little Brown Church at Nashua, with family members present, in 1961. He received his education in the Webster City schools and prior to W.W. II worked in the engineering department at Lockheed Aircraft in Burbank, California. He then served in the U.S. Army Combat Infantry in eastern France moving north to Bastone (Battle of the Bulge) crossing the Rhine River and meeting the Russians near Berlin. Upon returning to the United States, he joined his father and brothers, Harold and Glen in the family business which later included Audrey with a drapery shop.

Don is survived by his sister, Betty Buckley of Spirit Lake; nephew and niece, David and Joanne Long of Laguna Beach, CA; granddaughters, Angelica and Vika Long; additional nephews and nieces, Charles and Elizabeth Coulter of Coralville, Tom and Carolyn Maudlin of Spirit Lake, Tim and Jan Maudlin of Minneapolis, MN.

Don was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Audrey Coulter; parents, Roy and Delya Coulter; sister, Ione Coulter; brothers, Harold and Glen Coulter and sister-in-law, Wilma Coulter.

The family requests no flowers or gifts.
