Marjorie Eva Jewett Harvey, daughter of Ralph and Leura Bottorff Jewett, was born August 17, 1919 on a farm south of Webster City, Iowa. She received her education in the Webster City school system, graduating in 1936 from Lincoln High School. She attended the American Institute of Business in Des Moines, Iowa and became a secretary for a state representative in Des Moines.

She married Richard "Dick" Harvey on November 30, 1939 in the Church of Christ in Webster City. Following her marriage, Marjorie worked for Beam Manufacturing. In 1942 they moved to Hollywood, California. Marge worked for North American Aviation while there. When Dick enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Corps, they moved back to Webster City.

Their first son, Ron, was born December 6, 1942. When Dick was discharged from the military they moved to Galesburg, Illinois. Their second son, Doug, was born January 13, 1948. They resided in Galesburg until 1966, at which time they moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin for a short time. After that, they resided in Park Ridge and Palatine, Illinois where Marge was an executive secretary at Albert Wohlers Insurance Company. In 1980, they moved again, to Cape Coral, Florida, staying there until 1987. This time they moved to Indianapolis, Indiana so they would be closer to their family.

Marge was preceded in death by her husband of 73 years. She is survived by her two sons, Ron (Jane) Harvey and Doug (Mary) Harvey; four grandchildren, Shannon (Peter) Rogers, Sarah (Bill) Spencer, Ben (Tara), Harvey and Heather Harvey; four great grandchildren, Nicholas, Drew, Jackson, and Maryn Spencer.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Mildred Jewett Zeihan.

Marge was an active member in many churches and enjoyed singing in some of the church choirs. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed time with her family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 3:30 pm on Thursday, March 19th at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, followed by a memorial service at 4:30 pm. Memorial contributions are suggested to The Wounded Warrior Project.
