Evelyn Teed, 94, Eagle Grove, a longtime Webster City resident, died Friday, Sept. 14, 2001, at the Rotary Ann Care Center. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Trinity Lutheran Church with Revs. John Grebner and Doug Bullock-Tiffany officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 11 a.m. until service time on Tuesday. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral home.

Evelyn W. Kuchenbecker, daughter of Ben and Josephine Summers Kuchenbecker, was born August 17, 1907 at Owatonna, Minn. She attended Owatonna public schools and graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minn. with a degree in mathematics education. She taught mathematics at Austin, Minn., Hamlin, Minn., Plover, Iowa, and Webster City. She also taught English. In Webster City, she taught high school mathematics for several years. On Feb. 10, 1946, she married George W. Teed at Owatonna. Mr. Teed died on January 26, 1979. She resided at the Rotary Ann home since October of 1999.

Mrs. Teed is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth and William Youngstrom of Chico, Calif., granddaughters and spouse, Kristina and Fergus Cooke of Tahoe City, Calif., Katherine Youngstrom of Kent, Wa., a sister, Violet Miller of Algona; brother Edward Kuchenbecker of Burnsville, Minn., several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Bernard and Harvey Kuchenbecker, a sister in infancy, Leola Kuchenbecker.

Mrs. Teed was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, active in many church functions, a church choir member, and was active in PEO since 1942.

The family suggests memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church.
