MADS JENSEN, JEWELL, DEAD

Leaves Wife and Four Children; Funeral Is Saturday

Jewell, Iowa, Aug. 21 - The funeral of Mads Jensen, who died yesterday at the family home 4 miles northeast of Jewell, will be held Saturday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the home and at 2 o'clock at Bethesda Lutheran church in Jewell conducted by the Rev. Carl Opsahl. Burial will be made in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. Jensen was 65 years, 3 months and 12 days old. He had been ill for several months and had had several strikes of paralysis. He was born in Denmark and came to America in 1888. He came to the Story City community 42 years ago and for the past 21 years had lived in the vicinity of Jewell. He is survived by his wife and four children, Andrew, Mrs. Frank Hanson, Jens and Walter, all of whom live in the Jewell vicinity.
