Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Methodist church in LuVerne, Iowa for Frank Sanford, 65, who passed away suddenly at his home Wednesday morning, March 14, 1955 following a heart attack. Mr. Sanford has been in ill health for many years; however, his death was unexpected. Burial was in Homewood cemetery in Ellsworth, his former home. Graveside services were held there and Mrs. Leonard Lindebak sang a solo.

Survivors are his widow, the former Jessie Satter, and nine children, Francis, Mrs. Norman (Joann) Larson, Mrs. Allman (Donna) Hovick, all of Badger; Wayne, and Mrs. Milton (Joleen) Wilhelm of LuVerne; Mrs. Genevieve McGowan, Clark Lake; Robert of Palmdale, Ca., Mrs. James (Verda) Trauger; and Mrs. Bobby (Ramona) Caudle of Ellsworth. Also one brother, Archie Sanford of Ames and two sisters, Mrs. Jesse Lindebak of LuVerne and Mrs. Arthur Hof of Humboldt.

Among those from Ellsworth who attended the service at LuVerne were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Caudle, Mrs. C.J. Olson, Mr. and Mrs. Bobby Caudle, Mr. and Mrs. R.E. Kallem.
