Mae Thompson, 92, longtime Ellsworth resident, died Thursday afternoon at 5:30 at Bethany Manor, Story City, where she had resided the past four years.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethany Manor with the Rev. Enoch Hall officiating and with other services at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran church in Ellsworth with the Rev. Harvey Sigurdson officiating and with burial in the Homewood cemetery at Ellsworth.

Visitation will be tonight at the Becker Funeral home in Jewell.

Mae Thompson was born Oct. 17, 1890, at Ellsworth, the daughter of Margaret Sexe and John Thompson. She attended Augustana Academy, Sioux Falls, S.D.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church in Ellsworth, the Dorcas Society, the TLCW of the church and the Homewood Cemetery association.

She is survived by two brothers, Harold Thompson of Webster City and William Thompson of Clifton, Texas; two sisters, Ruth Winters of Owatonna, Minn., and Margaret Tracy of Denison, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Sylvia Thompson and Alice Jacobson, and four brothers, Thomas, Martin, Raymond and James Thompson.
