Webster City Freeman, Monday, March 22, 1926

On last Sunday sorrow overshadowed the home of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Paggette when the soul of little Lois Paggette took its flight into the Great Beyond. Leaving home only a few minutes before in robust health and in a gleeful spirit only to be picked up by her mother seriously injured in an accident, while at play with a number of other little playmates near the railroad yards, where she was crushed between the rails of the railroad turn table. The accident occurred about five o'clock in the afternoon and she was taken to the hospital, where it was realized that her condition was serious. She passed away at 9 o'clock at the age of seven years and six months. The Paggette family resided at Randall two years ago and little Lola will be remembered as a happy, sweet, child with a smile for everybody. She was unselfish and generous always anxious to help in the home and desirous of making others happy. She also expressed great affection for her grandparents, who will miss her sadly, because they had been together much of the time and became so dear to each other. She leaves to mourn a sorrowing father and a broken hearted mother, also two sisters and two brothers.

Short funeral services were held at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. B. Hanson, and at 2 o'clock at the Elim Lutheran church at Randall, conducted by Rev. G. O. Paulsrud, who delivered a profound and impressive sermon. The choir sang and at the close Rev. Paulsrud sang the beautiful hymn, "Asleep in Jesus." The pall bearers were her two cousins, Mildred Anfinson and Stella Egland, Olava Hia and Hazel Johnson. The little one was laid to rest at the Mt. Olive cemetery.
