Mrs. Elmer (Mabelle) Miller, 65, a longtime Webster City resident, died early Wednesday morning at the Hamilton County hospital where she had been a patient for the past five weeks. She had been in ill health the past year.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. S.W. Cunningham officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery.

Mabelle Ellen Yungclas, daughter of George F. and Winifred L. Stahl Yungclas, was born March 22, 1908, on a farm in Webster county. She was reared and educated in Webster City and later attended Waterloo business college.

She was united in marriage Nov. 18, 1970 to Elmer A. Miller and the couple had made their home in Webster City. For the past 10 years she had served as a bookkeeper at Christeson Motor Sales.

She is survived by her husband; one sister, Mrs. Velma Olmstead of Des Moines, and two nephews, Don Olmstead, Altoona, and Russ Olmstead of Des Moines.

She was a member of Asbury United Methodist church.
