Larry H. Hinderks, 66, of Webster City, died Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at the Asbury United Methodist Church, with Rev. Michael Slininger officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Larry H. Hinderks, 66, of Webster City, died Thursday, September 25, 2014 at the Israel Family Hospice House in Ames. Larry Henry Hinderks, son of Dennis and Luella Dencklau Hinderks, was born March 11, 1948 at Webster City. He graduated from Webster City High School in 1967 and attended North Iowa Community College. On December 28, 1988, he married Leah M. Naden at the Asbury United Methodist Church. In addition to farming his own land, he custom farmed. He was involved in sales for Kruger Seed and sold farm machinery parts. He also had a combine leasing business. Larry was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church and served six years in the Iowa National Guard.

Larry knew no strangers. He always had time for friendly conversation and story-telling. He was quick to respond to the needs of others and would be very grateful to those who are now helping his family.

Larry is survived by his wife, Leah of Webster City; son, Wade Hinderks of Boone; daughter and son-in-law, Nicole and Matt Ross of Boone; son and daughter-in-law, Jay and Jami Hinderks of Salem, OR; three grandchildren, Kayden, Carter and Madelynn and mother, Luella Hinderks of Webster City.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis H. Hinderks and a brother-in-infancy, Dennis E. Hinderks.
