Miss Florence M. Rothrock, 83, longtime Webster City resident, died Friday evening at the Hamilton County hospital.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Paul D. Williamson and Rev. Bruce Ursin officiating and with burial in the Blairsburg cemetery.

Florence Mabel Rothrock, daughter of Emmett and Lillie Blackmore Rothrock, was born July 4, 1899, on a farm near Blairsburg and she was reared and educated in that community.

She served as receptionist and bookkeeper for Dr. M.B. Galloway for many years and also for several years at the McMurray Hatchery.

She is survived by one sister, Edith Rothrock of Webster City.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Albert Rothrock, who died in January, 1981.

She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist church and of the Mary circle of the church.
