Mrs. G.O. (Margaret) Kennedy, 84, lifelong Kamrar resident, died Thursday evening, Dec. 16, at Crestview Manor where she had resided the past eight months. She had been in ill health the past year.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m Monday at the Foster Funeral home with the Rev. Bruce Ursin officiating and with burial in Graceland cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 1 p.m. on Saturday.

Margaret Ann Brill, daughter of Charles and Lottie Cooper Brill, was born May 1, 1898, on a farm south of Kamrar, and she was reared and educated in that area.

She was united in marriage May 24, 1916, to George Otto Kennedy, and the couple resided on a farm north of Kamrar, after which they moved into Kamrar. She was preceded in death by her husband April 27, 1971, and she continued to
reside in Kamrar.

She is survived by one son and four daughters, Evan M Kennedy, Mrs. Howard F. (Theda) Johnson and Mrs. Donald H.(Leah) Meyers all of Webster City, Mrs. Merle B. (Donna) Hamre of Paw Paw, Mich., and Mrs. Lloyd (Faye) Buckels, Jr. of
Jewell; 16 grandchildren; 23 greatgrandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her hushand, she was preceded in death by one son; Robert, who died in infancy; by her parents; two brothers and two sisters.

She was a member of the Kamrar Methodist church and was active in many community organizations.

Mrs. Kennedy for many years was the Kamrar correspondent for the Daily Freeman-Journal.
