Joseph L. Parrish, Jr. was born on Sept. 11, 1940 in Des Moines, and passed away Aug. 28 in Phoenix, Ariz. He spent fifty years in the banking industry and most recently served as president of Bank Iowa, in Altoona. He retired in 2003 and moved to Arizona. He is survived by his wife Lisa (Breitenkamp), parents, Joe and Helen Parrish of Webster City, son Matthew and (Tina) of Vashon Island, Wash. and daughter Julie (Chad) Friesth of Fort Dodge, and six grandchildren. There will be a memorial service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 3 at Church of Christ in Webster City.
