Mary Boss, age 81, of Williams, died on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the Scenic Manor Nursing Home in Iowa Falls. Funeral services are pending with the Surls Funeral Chapel in Williams.

Mary Boss, age 81, of Williams, died on Thursday, October 14, 2010 at the Scenic Manor Nursing Home in Iowa Falls. Funeral services will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the United Methodist Church in Williams, Iowa. Visitation will be at the Surls Funeral Chapel in Williams, Iowa from 4-7 P.M. Monday.

Mary Boss was born on August 10, 1929 in Iowa City, Iowa to Gladyce Vey. Mary attended school in Williams, Iowa. On August 12, 1949, Mary was united in marriage to Wayne Boss at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. Mary was part owner and operator at Mary and Wayne's Café and Lounge in Williams, Iowa. She was a member of the Methodist Church in Williams.

Mary is survived by her husband Wayne of Williams, Iowa; son Barry (Sheryl) Boss of Sheridan, Wyoming; daughter Carol (Vane) Huggins of Easton, Kansas; four grandchildren Tiffany (Chad) Reisig, Wade (Judie) Boss, Jess Simpson, and Joshua "JD" Simpson; and three great-grandchildren Taylor Reisig, Luke Reisig, and Carter Boss.
Mary was preceded in death by her mother Gladyce Vey.
