Harold George Hassebrock, Fulton, TX, died at his home, Oct. 11, 2010, following a courageous battle with cancer. His body was cremated and there will be a private internment at a later date.

He was born March 6, 1934, near Kamrar, son of Theodore "Ted" Hassebrock and Edith (Fonken) Hassebrock. He moved to Belize, Central America and cleared land for development. Here he met Barbara Silva and they were married on Oct. 7, 1977. Later they moved to the United States.

He is survived by his wife Barbara, sister Laura Quam and husband Gordon of Boone, brother Wayne Hassebrock and wife Barbara of Kamrar, a step-daughter Babara Ann Sims and husband George in Texas, and step-son Mark Anthony Silva in Texas, a step-grandson, niece Debra Martino and husband Joe of New York, nephew Dennis Quam and wife Chris of Stanhope, and several nephews and a niece.

Any memorial may be given to AIM Hospice, condolences to Barbara at P.O. Box 2186, Fulton, TX 78358.
