Jewell Record-May 18, 1887.
Died. Abram Snyder, at his home nine miles west of Jewell, on Monday [May 16, 1887] of heart disease, aged about 50 years. Mr. Snyder was plowing in the field and it seems he had sat down to rest, and then fell over dead. Dr. McCanon was sent for to hold an inquest, but the facts and cause of death were so plain that it was deemed unnecessary. He leaves a wife and a large family of children. The funeral is to be held today and the remains will be interred in Clear Lake Cemetery.
