Mary Lou Heslop, 78, of Webster City, died Saturday, September 25, 2010 at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames, Iowa. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center with Pastor Ray Artrip officiating. Burial will follow in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Fosters on Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and after 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Mary Lou Wilson daughter of Afton and Mata Walterman Wilson was born on August 20, 1932 in Webster City. She graduated from Webster City Lincoln High School in 1952. On June 21, 1953 she married Edward J. Heslop in Webster City. She had worked for Bashes Drive-In and for over 17 years, for the Webster City Community Schools as a cook. Mary Lou retired in 1997. Mr. Heslop died on October 29, 2009.

Survivors include her son, Lloyd Heslop of Webster City; daughters and sons-in-law, Ranae and Doug Sealine of Jewell, IA; Karen and David Jacobson of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Chad and Beth Sealine of Des Moines; Emily and Sarah Jacobson of Tampa; Brett Sealine of West Des Moines, IA; 2 great granddaughters, Abby and Corrin Sealine; sisters, Ruth Walker of Fort Dodge; Inez Ewing of Colorado; Edith Kohn of Vancouver, WA; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Edward, she was preceded in death by her parents; grandchildren, Dylan and Jennifer Jacobson; brothers, Darrell, Fredie, Howard, Lloyd, Roy, Glen and Alvin Wilson; sisters, Delores Barnes, Mabel, and Lois May Wilson.

She was a member of the Church of Christ in Webster City. Her memberships also included, Women of the Moose Family Center; American Legion Auxiliary and Meals on Wheels all in Webster City.
