MRS. C. H. HARRIS DIES SUDDENLY
Our citizens were shocked by the sudden death of Mrs. C. H. Harris. She had been in ordinary health and doing her ordinary household work during the day. She was putting coal in the stove when she was taken sick. Major Harris was sent for and a Doctor, but the woman died within a short time from heart failure.
It was a very severe blow to Mr. Harris, and he was so overcome with the sudden death of his wife, that even his life was in danger. Mrs. Harris was a most estimable lady and it casts a gloom over the neighbors and friends of the family. She leaves besides her husband, two small children of her own, and one of her son's children, which had its only home in it's grandfather's place since the demise of it's mother a short time ago. Major Harris certainly has his share and more of death's visits of late in the members of his immediate family.
