Mildred M. Pringle, 89, of Webster City, died December 31, 2009 at the Southfield Wellness Community. Mrs. Pringle's wishes were to be cremated with a private graveside memorial service to be held at a later date. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Mildred Maxine Black, daughter of Herb and Bessie Frederick Black, was born on April 19, 1920 in Webster City. She received her education and graduated from Webster City Lincoln High School in 1938. During her education, she dedicated several years of her life performing as an acrobat for the LaTona Troupe. On September 15, 1946, she married Forrest Robert Pringle in Boone. The couple resided in Webster City. Millie was employed for seven years at Franklin Manufacturing (Electrolux) in Webster City. However, her main vocation was as a homemaker. They had celebrated 63 years of marriage.

Survivors include her husband, Robert of Webster City; son, Steve Pringle of Ankeny; daughters, Shirley (Roger) Gordon of Butte, Mont.; Kristi (Bill) Nelson of Webster City; grandchildren, Alyssa, Brian, Brooke, Lindsay, Alex, and Nickolas; great-grandchildren Madisen, Masen and Maia; her brother, Harvey (Mary) Black of Clarion; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Pringle was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mayabelle Floyd, Marcella Bige, Marian Newcombe and Marge Eide; and her brothers, Francis and Richard Black.

Millie's hobbies included quilting and handicrafts. She was also an avid card player in which she enjoyed playing "500" and bridge.
