Charlotte Richey, 76, of Webster City, died Wednesday, December 23, 2009 at Hamilton Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Foster Chapel, with Rev. Sue Nienaber officiating. Burial will be in the Graceland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday and prior to the service on Monday.

Charlotte Elaine Scott, daughter of Clarence and Nellie Kent Scott, was born August 6, 1933 in Stratford. She received her education at the Stratford Public School. On September 7, 1951, she married John J. Baker and the couple resided in Webster City. Mr. Baker died July 20, 1968. in January of 1972, she married Robert Richey of Elk Point, S.D. The couple resided in Webster City. Mr. Richey died in March of 2000. She had been employed at Brower Electric in Webster City and Webster City Custom Meats.

Charlotte is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Kathy Baker of Webster City, Jim and Maxine Baker of Boone, Denny and Diana Baker of Webster City; daughters and sons-in-law, Donna and Dale Luhmann of Duncombe; Karen and Norm Anderson of Webster City; Sue and Jim Nienaber of Coon Rapids, Minn.; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Luella Doolittle of Webster City; sisters-in-law, Betty Scott of Fort Dodge, Mildred Scott of Webster City and Jean Ober of Story City; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents; great-grandson, Bruce Rollins III; brothers, Don and Raymond Scott and half-brother, Clarence "Bud" Ober; half-sister, Esther Ober; and brother-in-law, Dwight Doolittle.

She was a member of the Asbury United Methodist Church and the Webster City Moose Family Center.
