Leonard "Buck" Pringle, 86, passed away on Sept. 4, 2009 at Hamilton Hospital in Webster City.

He was born June 3, 1923 in Marshall, Minnesota, the fourth child of Edward Pringle and Julia Drake. Leonard grew up and graduated from high school in Webster City. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving overseas during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Fred and Roland "Gus" Pringle.

Leonard is survived by his sister Inez Burckle of Webster City; his son Lynn of Phoenix, AZ; his daughter Rebecca Fraser of Placerville, CA; and four grandchildren. A private family funeral will be held in Colorado Springs, CO, where Leonard resided for many years.
