Lee (Jayme) Herbert, 50, Lincoln, Neb. died Wednesday, Jan. 14, 2009. Lee Herbert was a 1977 graduate of South Hamilton High School. He was an avid NASCAR and drag racing fan. Surviving are his wife, Dixie, Lincoln; son, Austin Herbert, Lincoln; step-son, Jason McDaniel, Lincoln; step-daughter, Niki McDaniel, Lincoln; father, Denny Herbert, Jewell; mother and step-father, Patricia and Jim Bergeson of Webster City; Brother and sister-in-law, Les and Kathy Herbert of Martinsburg, W.V.; grandmother, Jennie Headley, Webster City; mother-in-law, Arlys Wittmier, Lincoln; grandchildren, Aiden McDaniel, Jackson McDaniel; niece Heather (Brandon) Feigner of Ellsworth and her children, Lexie and Brandon; a nephew, Jeremy Herbert of Jewell. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, LeRoy Wittmier, grandparents (Pink) Headley and grandmother Loder.
Memorial services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home, 5200 "R" St. Lincoln, Neb. Visitation is one hour prior to services.
A memorial fund has been established in his name. Wadlow Rozanek Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Further services will be held in Jewell at a later date.

Memorial services for Lee Allen Herbert will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 30, 2009 at Evergreen Cemetery in Jewell with Rev. Bob Miller officiating. Fellowship following services at Jewell U.C.C.
