Avonelle Peterson, 86, Ellsworth, died Friday, Jan. 2, 2004 at Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Funeral services were held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Ellsworth with Rev. Dean E. Baer officiating. Burial followed in Homewood Cemetery in Ellsworth. Becker Funeral Home in Jewell was entrusted with arrangements.
