Obituary-Webster City Daily Freeman-Journal-Mrs. Crosby, age 75, dies. Had been a resident of Hamilton County for 70 years. Mrs. A.S. Crosby, 75, died late yesteray afternoon at her home, 11 miles south of this city, death being caused by ailments incident to old age. She had been seriously ill about a week. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at the Methodist church at 2:30 o'clock. The Rev. L.A. Dale, of Lohrville, and the Rev. H.M.Burns, of this city, will officiate and burial will be made in Graceland cemetery. Friends may call at the McCauley-Chapman funeral home to see the body.
Mrs. Crosby was born in Pennsylvania in December, 1856, and when a child of five she came to Hamilton county with her parents. She had lived here for 70 years.
She leaves to mourn her death her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Ray Graham and Mrs. Nellie Silvers; eight sons, Will H., A.M., Clarence E., Harry L., Frank A. , Louis E., Ernest M., and Floyd W.; 38 grandchildren;two brothers, H.B. Dale and Leo Dale; and one sister, Mrs. J.H.Miller
Two sons, Carl and E.O., and a daughter, Mrs. W.H. Craun, preceded her in death.
(Gertrude died Oct. 7, 1932.)
