Earl Junior Klein, son of Earl Charles Klein and Flossie Nina (Rhoer) Klein was born Aug. 24, 1926 in Hamilton County and died May 21, 2009 at his home near Murray, IA at 82 years of age.

Earl attended Webster City Schools. He served in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1947 and served overseas during World War II. He was united in marriage to Lois Jean Tordoff on Feb. 18, 1949. They lived near Williams for several years and lived in Clarke County since 1977.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Lois Klein of rural Murray; daughters, Jan Klein of Murray, Pat Doss of Alanson, MI, Sheila Kistler of Osceola, Cindy Chamberlain (Ron George) of Osceola; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; sister, Marion Rockow of Webster City; other relatives and friends.

Mr. Klein has been cremated, and no services are planned. Contributions may be made to the American Legion in Murray.
