Funeral services for Linn Louise Tracy, 58, Freeman, SD, formerly of Mitchell, will be Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Reliance, SD with burial in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery at Reliance, SD. Visitation will be held at the Hickey-Wevik Funeral Chapel in Chamberlain on Monday, beginning at 5 p.m. with a scripture service at 7 p.m.

Linn Louise Arnoldy was born August 12, 1950 at Winner, SD to Roland John and Ruth Louise (Wiese) Arnoldy. She was raised in Kennebec where she attended school and graduated from Kennebec High School. In 1968, Linn was united in marriage to Kenneth Tracy. They made their home in Mitchell, SD where she was the caring mother of their three daughters. Linn became ill in the early 1980's and subsequently made her home in Freeman at Oakview Terrace where she spent the remainder of her life. Linn enjoyed spending time outdoors and she was artistically talented having created many pieces of artwork that are still enjoyed by family and friends today.

Linn passed away on May 15, 2009 at Oakview Terrace in Freeman, SD at the age of 58 years. Grateful to have shared her life are her daughters Ashley Crouch and husband Kevin of Sioux Falls, SD, Erin Strait and husband Brad of Webster City, and Tara Franey and husband Eric of Mitchell, SD; 8 grandchildren: Ethan, Lauren, and Allison Crouch, Colin and Jillian Strait, Macy, Cole, and Samantha Franey.

Preceding her in death were her parents Roland and Ruth Arnoldy; a sister Kathleen Schindler; and a nephew Clay Schindler.
