Cindy S. Ruhl, 56, of Blairsburg, died Monday, September 24, 2007 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Graceland Cemetery, with Rev. Bill Keller officiating. There will be no visitation. Arrangements were made with the Foster Funeral and Cremation Center.

Cindy Sue Burnett, daughter of Ross and Evelyn Lacy Burnett, was born February 19, 1951 at Webster City. She received her education in Webster City schools, graduating in 1969. She graduated from LaJames College of Hairstyling. On May 16, 1969, she married Jerold Ray Ruhl at Webster City. The couple resided at Blairsburg, Alkins, AK for 5 years then returned to Webster City. She had worked for the Webster City school system as a school bus driver, Haride bus driver, school bus driver and custodian for Northeast Hamilton and Upper Des Moines Opportunity.

Cindy is survived by daughter, Christine Ruhl of Blairsburg; son, Jerold ( Jerry ) Ruhl, Jr. of New Hampton; grandchildren, Jacob Hedeen of Duncombe; Lacy McConnell of Blairsburg; brothers and sisters-in-law, Gary and Kay Burnett of Marshalltown; Ron and Lynn Burnett of Davenport; Russ and Karen Burnett of Ida Grove; Dan and Rena Burnett of Blairsburg; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; nephew, Aaron Burnett and niece, Ashley Burnett.

She was a member of the Missionary Alliance Church of Blairsburg.
