Jane E. Lenning, 64, of Dublin, Ohio, formerly of Blairsburg passed away Friday, December 19, 2008 at home surrounded by family and friends. While living in Iowa, Jane was the Director of Advertising at the "Daily Freeman Journal" Newspaper in Webster City for several years. Most recently she was employed as a Deputy Auditor for the Franklin County Auditor's Office in Columbus, Ohio for nearly 15 years.

She is preceded in death by her former husband, Donald Robison; parents: Roy and Grace (Clippinger) Thompson; fathers-in-law: Robert Robison and Emery Lenning; and brother, Robert "Bobby" Thompson; and brother-in-law, Delmar Robison. She is survived by her husband, Roger; son, Todd (Diane) Lenning; daughter, Tawnya (Shannon) Hambly; mothers-in-law: Effie Robison and Dorothy Lenning; grandchildren: Alyssa and Karter Lenning, Drew and Sidney Hambly, Bailey and Bryan Zepeda, Brady and Benton "Bud" Kern; great-grandchild Garrett Jones; brother, Richard (Marjorie) Thompson; sisters: Jean (Dwight) Kennedy, Jo Ellen (Harold) Adams; sister-in-law, Rosalie (Dennis) Neubauer; brother-in-law, Duane (Liz) Robison; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jane was a 1962 graduate of Prairie City High School and a 1963 graduate of Bernel College of Hairstyling. She was also a member of Meadow Park Church of God in Columbus. Jane will be sadly missed by her family, many friends and co-workers whom she dearly loved at the Franklin County Auditor's Office. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, 2008 at the Prairie City United Methodist Church with Pastor Lane Riggle officiating. Burial will follow in Waveland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from 10 a.m. until service time.
